We are passionate about what we do, because knowing how to save a life is always a critical skill!
We offer both in-person and blended learning courses, either in our Santa Rosa classroom, at your business, or in your home. CPR and safety training classes made just for you!
Do you want to learn more about how to respond to medical emergencies but don’t require a certification for your job or to meet state or OSHA compliance requirements? We offer several courses that cover various aspects of emergency response and safety that can be customized to meet your unique needs and environment. Classes can be completed in person or virtually (online via Zoom).
These non-certification classes allow for more flexibility because we aren’t confined to the guidelines of the certifying organizations such as American Heart Association. During these classes, we will tailor the training to address your specific audience, environment and risks; delve deep into the topics YOU want to learn about; run through customized training scenarios; and get into meaningful discussion and Q&A sessions.
Some of the topics that can be covered include: CPR, first aid, using an AED, purchasing an AED, AED setup and maintenance, ECG interpretation, risk management, accident and injury prevention, safety tips, and emergency preparedness.
Infant CPR for Parents
Are you a new or expecting parent wanting to learn how to respond if your baby or child experiences a cardiac, respiratory, choking, or other medical emergency? We've got you covered! This class is perfect for anyone who will be around infants and young children, including babysitters and family members.
Our Infant CPR for Parents class is a non-certification course with a focus on newborn babies and infants that covers CPR, first aid, and more. The instructor will assess your family and environment, and then tailor the training to you, so that you learn exactly what is needed from a prevention, safety, and emergency response perspective.
Since most pediatric death is caused by preventable accidents and breathing problems, the class addresses safety and prevention measures that can be taken to avoid such incidents. We also cover what do if an emergency happens, including who to call, where to go, and what you can do while you’re waiting for paramedics. The instructor will address any questions you have along the way and even afterwards if you think of something else. We’re here to ensure you leave the course feeling confident and ready to act in case of an emergency. And we also aim for you to take away safety tips and other measures that help make your environment safer for your new baby or child, thereby preventing incidents altogether. A handy reference sheet is provided.
