Vive CPR is a CPR and First Aid training company based in Sonoma County, California. Our mission is simple: provide high quality CPR, first aid, and safety training so that our clients are well-equipped to confidently and appropriately respond to emergency medical incidents.  Our students leave class feeling confident, knowledgeable, and prepared to help when someone needs them most. Vive CPR makes it fun and easy to obtain or renew your CPR certification!  We offer a variety of American Heart Association (AHA) certification classes, including adult, child, and infant CPR classes, BLS classes (Basic Life Support for healthcare providers), ACLS classes (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS classes (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and First Aid classes in Sonoma County and the San Francisco Bay Area.

In addition to AHA certification classes, Vive CPR also offers specialized training programs such as STOP THE BLEED® certification and NRP Provider certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).

We also offer non-certification courses such as “Infant CPR for Parents”, Harm Reduction (Narcan training), and custom CPR and safety classes to fit your needs.

Our flexible training options include instructor-led in-person classes, Blended Learning classes (online training combined with in-person Skills Sessions), and virtual classes (online via Zoom).  Trainings take place in our convenient Rohnert Park classroom (just south of Santa Rosa off the 101 freeway), at your business, or in your home.  Onsite training is available for private individuals and groups.  We can even provide classes in Spanish, or outdoors (weather permitting).

Aaron Bates began his career in emergency medical services in 2007 and has been a licensed paramedic and certified American Heart Association instructor since 2009.  He has received advanced training as a critical care paramedic from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine.  Having worked throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in the field as a paramedic and firefighter/paramedic, at a trauma center, and as an instructor with various EMS education programs, Aaron has a unique perspective as a responder and educator, which helps enrich the learning experience you will receive in his classes.  Aaron Bates is a passionate educator who makes every effort to ensure students leave his classes feeling confident and empowered to help others.

Brady Cannon is a Paramedic with Sonoma County Fire District EMS and has been working in emergency medicine since 2021.  He also serves as a Lab Instructor at Contra Costa College, where he trains and mentors EMT and paramedic students.  In addition to his clinical and teaching roles, Brady supports international humanitarian aid organizations, providing both medical care and education in communities affected by disaster and conflict, locally and abroad.  Through his diverse experience, Brady has developed a strong passion for education and is dedicated to helping others build confidence and competence in lifesaving skills.

Jason Clough spent more than 35 years as an EMT and Fire Engineer at the Santa Rosa Fire Department and other local fire and medical response agencies.  He has also been an instructor and an Associate Faculty member for the Santa Rosa Junior College Emergency Medical Care Program for over 25 years.  Teaching and interacting with the community where he lives and works gives him a sense of pride, knowing that his students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to help the community in an emergency situation.  Jason is now semi-retired, and his interests include SCUBA diving, dual sport motorcycle adventures, and hanging out in the garden or workshop.

Robin Bisgaard

Robin is a highly experienced neonatal nurse with more than 40 years at UCSF Medical Center, where she has dedicated the majority of her career to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Her background also includes pediatrics, case management, clinical education, and research, giving her a well-rounded and deeply practical perspective on patient care.

For nearly two decades, Robin has served as an instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), expertly training healthcare providers to respond confidently and effectively in critical newborn emergencies.

Sacheen Drucker graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and the Haas School of Business with a degree in mass communications and business. Her professional experience is in privacy and compliance, clinical operations, market research, and research and development in the healthcare and medical device industries, as well as small business operations. Sacheen keeps Vive CPR going by diligently running its office and operations.
