The AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course covers training and certification in first aid, CPR, and AED (automated external defibrillator) use for adults, children, and infants.

  • First aid basics
  • Medical emergencies
  • Injury emergencies
  • Environmental emergencies
  • Preventing illness and injury
  • CPR and AED use
  • Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies

Intended Audience

Non-medical personnel who require CPR, AED, and first aid certification for job, regulatory, or other requirements (e.g., those who work in schools, gyms, construction, electrical trades, vineyards, wineries, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, social work, community centers, recreational centers, etc.). Laypersons who desire CPR first aid training.

This class is NOT intended for childcare providers or healthcare providers. If you work in a licensed childcare facility, please enroll in our Pediatric CPR and First Aid class. If you are a healthcare provider or training to be one, please enroll in our Basic Life Support (BLS) certification class.
