Information We Collect

As a general policy, no personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, or e-mail address, is automatically collected from your visit to the Site. However, certain non-personal information is recorded by the standard operation of the Company’s internet servers. Information such as the type of browser being used, its operating system, and your IP address is gathered in order to enhance your online experience, and to improve and analyze our website and the services we provide.

When you make a purchase from us; contact us by phone, email, or text; attend a training course; or otherwise engage with the Site’s various content, mailing lists, emails, downloads, special offers, registration forms, contact forms, and surveys; we may request and/or collect certain information such as your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, professional title, company name, company address, payment information (such as credit card number), demographics such as age and gender, personal preference information such as your preferred software and interests, and shopping and browsing history.

Additionally, if you attend a training course, we may collect testimonials you write, and photographs or videos showing the classroom, instructor, students, educational material, and training process.

How We Use That Information

Photographs and Videos

Company reserves the right to use any collected photograph/video without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video.  Company may use the photograph/video in publications or other media such as websites, review sites, directories, brochures, advertisements, social media posts, blog posts, etc.  Images and videos will not be identified using full names without written approval from the subject.  Faces may also be blurred or removed, at the discretion of Company.  If you wish not to have your image collected, please inform the photographer/videographer or contact the Company in writing at the address provided below.  By participating in a Company event or by failing to notify Company of your desire to not have your photograph/video used by Company, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify Company from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.  Any person or organization not affiliated with Company may not use, copy, alter or modify Company photographs or videos without advance written permission from Company.


A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer that is used collect information about your usage of a website and also enables a website to recognize you.  Cookies make using our Site easier by, among other things, saving your passwords and preferences for you.  A cookie will not allow a website to learn any personally identifiable information (such as your real name and address) that you have not otherwise disclosed.

SMS / Text Messages

If you have provided us with your prior express consent to receive communications via an automatic telephone dialing system (auto-dialer), artificial or prerecorded voice messages, or text messages, we may use your information to send text messages to any mobile device connected to your mobile phone number, until you opt out from future text messages by texting “STOP”.  Once you cancel, we will send one confirmation message stating that you’ve opted out.  Information about your SMS consent, opt-in, and opt-out is not shared with others.  To learn more, please see the SMS section of our Terms of Service.

User-Submitted Comments and Reviews

Guests of the Site are solely responsible for the content of messages they post on the Company’s forums, such as blog post comments, product reviews, and testimonials.  Users should be aware that when they voluntarily disclose personal information (e.g., User name, e-mail address, phone number) on the Site, that information can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages from other people.  You are responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these instances.  Please take care when using these features.

Transfer of Information Across National Borders

Our Site and various information we collect are operated on servers located in various jurisdictions, including the United States.  When you access or use the Site and/or our services, personal information about you may be transferred outside the country in which you are situated to these other locations.  The Company’s policies ensure that such personal information is protected to the same standard when processed by any Company entity or office around the world.  We also ensure that appropriate contracts containing standard data protection clauses approved by the European Commission to protect that information and the rights of individuals are in place with any and all third-party service providers we may use.

Children Age 16 and Under

The Company recognizes the special obligation to protect personally identifiable information obtained from children age 16 and under.  AS SUCH, IF YOU ARE 16 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER, THE COMPANY REQUESTS THAT YOU NOT SUBMIT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE SITE OR TO THE COMPANY.  If the Company discovers that a child age 16 or younger has signed up on the Site or provided us with personally identifiable information, we will remove that child’s identifiable information from our records.
